Following on from his debut EP ‘Cold Open’, James OR releases his latest single, ‘Berlin’, on March 3rd, 2017.
A song shrouded in uncertainty, “Berlin” recaps how an attraction that once seemed so honest and enticing, can prove to be the undoing of you.
Recorded with Christian Best (Mick Flannery, Jack O’Rourke) and mastered by Danny Kalb (Beck, Ham Sandwich), ‘Berlin’ demonstrates James OR’s growing compositional prowess and lyrical wit. Produced with the same musicians that appeared “Cold Open”, it is the latest step forward for this exciting new Irish prospect, after what was an incredible 2016.
Some highlights included performing onstage alongside The Coronas, Picture This and Gavin James, supporting Damien Dempsey, Paddy Casey and others, and appearing on the Whelan’s “Ones to watch” and Indiependence Music and Arts Festival line-ups.
